A. Christain Bauer:
· TrueColor modes under EGS only work with Piccolo/Spectrum boards.
· It is now verified that EtherTalk doesn't work.
· System 7.0.1 has sound problems.
· For some unknown reason, System 7.5 fails to boot on some machines. I'm investigating about this.
· ShapeShifter trashes the WB screen with Mac graphics when both are on the same gfx card. This is to be considered "normal" behavior and not going to change in the near future. The best you can do is to make sure that no Mac program will draw on the screen when you switch to the WB.
· Some people have encountered problems with using "serial.device" from the Amiga side while ShapeShifter is running in the background. The problems go away when using "BaudBandit.device" instead of "serial.device". I'm checking whether this is a bug in "serial.device" or one in ShapeShifter.
· Some newer 1MB ROMs only work when the "Mac ROM in fast mem" option is turned ON.
· If ShapeShifter only shows a plain gray/white/dithered gray screen with/without mouse pointer and with/without "bong" on startup, there's nothing I can do for you except suggesting to try a different ROM version. As I said in the docs, ShapeShifter will TRY to work with all ROM sub-versions, not that it actually DOES. :^)
